Brea Police Locate Missing 12-Year-Old Girl

[Update a/o 11:30 a.m.]: Brea police say they've located Alyzai Victoria Trujillo. No further details were provided.

BREA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities are seeking the public's help in locating a missing girl from Brea.

Alyzai Victoria Trujillo, 12, was last seen leaving Washington Middle School in La Habra between 11 a.m. and noon on Feb. 20, Brea police said in a department statement.

The statement said Trujillo is believed to be headed to Fontana to be with friends.

Trujillo was last heard from on Feb. 21, when she called family to tell them that she was lost.

Trujillo is 5-feet, 4-inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has long brown hair and blue eyes and was last seen wearing a brown shirt with the word "California" on it, a blue sweater, blue jeans, and black and white Vans brand shoes.

Anyone with information about Trujillo's whereabouts was asked to call the Brea Police Department at (714) 990-7911 or O.C. Crime Stoppers at 1 (855) TIP-OCCS.
