16-Year-Old Boy Nabbed For Allegedly Shooting At Undercover LAPD Detectives

LINCOLN HEIGHTS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities have arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of attempted murder in Lincoln Heights.

Police say he and a man shot at a car driven by undercover narcotics detectives at 6:20 p.m. Friday in the 3500 block of Mission Road.

The officers were not hurt.

LAPD officers launched a citywide tactical alert to search for the suspects.

After more than seven hours, the boy was found and arrested.

The other suspect in the shooting is still on the loose.
