LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A man was wounded Friday in a deputy-involved shooting in Long Beach, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department.

The incident took place around 12:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of East Pacific Coast Highway, officials said.

The condition of the wounded man was not immediately released.

No deputies were injured in the shooting, according to authorities.
