Man Reportedly Flashing Teen Girls In Woodbridge Area Of Irvine

IRVINE (CBSLA.com) — Irvine police are warning the Woodbridge community to be on the lookout after receiving reports that a man has been exposing himself to teen girls and then trying to lure them to his car.

The suspect approached a pair of 15-year-old girls walking home from school around 3:20 p.m. near West Yale Loop and Warner Avenue, Lt. Julia Engen said.

He then pulled his sedan up to the curb. He tried to get one of the girls to come to his passenger-side window, but she kept on walking, Engen said.

Shortly thereafter, another 15-year-old girl near West Yale Loop and Stone Creek North was accosted by a flasher matching the suspect description from the first incident.

Investigators believe the suspect was the same man who approached two other girls in separate incidents on Jan. 17 and Feb. 4. In those cases, the suspect was walking around, with his pants unzipped, asking for directions.

All these incidents have occurred in the Woodbridge area.

The suspect was described as being in his 20s, short and brown hair and light skin. He's driving a dark, 4-door sedan with tinted windows. Anyone with information was asked to call police at (949) 724-7200.
