Iconic Pasadena Hotel Offers $100,000 ‘Proposal’ Package For Valentine’s Day
PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — If you’re willing to spend six figures on your Valentine, one Pasadena landmark will help you make it a day to remember.
KNX 1070’s Megan Goldsby reports the Langham Huntington Hotel has unveiled the $100,000 Proposal of the Century.
The landmark hotel is celebrating its 100th anniversary by offering the all-inclusive package, which includes a two-night stay in The Langham Huntington’s 3,200-square-foot Tournament of Roses Presidential Suite and a $35,000 hand-crafted, custom-designed engagement ring featuring a 2.50-carat cushion cut diamond.
In order to set the mood, “Century” guests will gain private and exclusive use of the Rose Bowl Stadium where they can “pop the question” directly on the field with up to 40 friends and family in attendance.
Langham Huntington spokesperson Susan Williger said the lucky couple will also be treated to a private serenade presented by the 40-piece Pasadena Symphony Orchestra and performed directly on the Rose Bowl field.
“If you want to recreate that ‘Kim and Kanye’ proposal experience, we can certainly make it happen,” Williger said, referencing a video leaked online showing rapper Kanye West proposing to reality TV star Kim Kardashian at San Francisco’s AT&T Park with the help of a symphony orchestra.
While hotel staff says the package is still available for Valentine’s Day, don’t worry if you don’t have an extra $100,000 to spend just yet: the package will be offered through December 29, 2014.
