Dodgers Have OF Yasiel Puig On Limited Throwing Program With Inflammation To Right Shoulder
GLENDALE, Ariz. (CBSLA.com) - The Dodgers are a day away from a full-team workout and they already have their right fielder Yasiel Puig on a limited throwing program at spring training camp in Glendale, Arizona.
Dodgers' manager Don Mattingly said Puig's inflammation to his right shoulder came from overthrowing on his first day at camp.
"We don't think it's serious, but we need to find out," Mattingly said, calling Puig's reduced throwing "precautionary."
The inflammation to his right shoulder is the same shoulder he inured at the end of last season.
