Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Feb. 10)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The weak cold front pushed through Monday morning and really did fall apart. We have variable cloudiness in the area.

Look for general clearing conditions through the day. Temperatures will be similar to Sunday, but maybe a degree or two warmer. A ridge of high pressure will build in starting tomorrow and that will help to pump our temperatures up for the rest of the week.

There could be some gusty off-shore flow winds (north and northeast) as the ridge strengthens. Passes and canyons will be most vulnerable to the winds.

Otherwise, expect warm temperatures lasting all the way through next weekend. So a fairly boring forecast with temperatures into the 80s as early as Wednesday for the valleys.

No rainfall now through Feb. 20. We are hovering at just over 1 inch of rain for the entire season, that puts us more than 7.5 inches below average.

Basin - mid to upper 60s

Beaches - mid 60s

Valleys - upper 60s

Mountains - upper 40s

Deserts - upper  60s
