STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The cooler weekend continues … with temperatures running just a touch below average.

We have been picking up little bits of drizzle here and there … but not enough to even show up on our Doppler radar.

There is another cold front dropping into the area overnight and early tomorrow. However this is a weak front and it is washing out as it makes its trek through the area.

So again there is the slight chance for a little drizzle overnight and early tomorrow…but that’s about it.

Temperatures won’t change much either. The only byproduct of this front will be some gusty winds.

A wind advisory has been issued for most mountain communities in the viewing area. The advisory also includes Apple Valley, Lucerne Valley, and The Victor Valley. By Tuesday, a ridge builds into the Southwest and we will have warmer temperatures.

Those mild conditions will last through the beginning of next week.

Basin – mid 60s;
Beaches – low to mid 60s;
Valleys – mid to upper 60s;
Deserts – mid 60s;
Mountains – upper 40s.
