House Fire Sets Off Rounds Of Ammunition, Startling Elysian Park Neighbors

ELYSIAN PARK (CBSLA.com) — Flames more than crackled at a Los Angeles house fire Saturday as rounds of ammunition went off much to the surprise of fire crews.

The owner of the home, located at in the 2300 block of Riverdale Avenue, reportedly owns a gunshop.

Officials said eight people were left homeless by the fire.

More than 50 firefighters contained the blaze within an hour.
