Man, 34, Shot To Death In South Los Angeles

SOUTH LA (CBSLA.com) — Officials are looking for the suspect who fatally shot a man in South Los Angeles early Friday morning.

The shooting took place around 2 a.m.

Patrol officers from the LAPD's 77th Street Community Police Station responded to a radio call of a shooting in the 5300 block of south Budlong Avenue.

When they arrived on-scene, officers found 34-year-old Ray Lewis Rice suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics responded and pronounced Rice dead at the scene.

It is not known how the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect remains at large.
