Police Confirm Death Threats Made Against Disney Star, 5

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —  Police are confirming that death threats have been made against a 5-year-old Disney Channel star.

Mia Talerico, cast member of the Disney Channel comedy, "Good Luck Charlie," was recently threatened.

Cmdr. Andrew Smith said he was notified by the Los Angeles Police Department's threat management unit of the threat on Monday.

The threats were made on Monday or perhaps during the weekend, Smith said.

The nature of the threats was not released, with Smith calling the investigation "very sensitive."

CNN reported the death threats were made online but did not specify where the threats were posted.
