Homeless Man Critical After Being Attacked By Mountain Lion In Perris
PERRIS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a homeless man is in critical condition after being attacked by a mountain lion in Perris.
The man, whose age and name were not released, is expected to survive.
The lion attacked the man at a homeless encampment, according to authorities.
Dan Sforza, assistant chief of the Southern Enforcement District for the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, told the Riverside Press-Enterprise the man's injuries were consistent with a mountain lion attack.
The injured man could not tell investigators what attacked him, Sforza told the paper.
