INDIANAPOLIS (CBSLA.com) – The Indiana Pacers are in serious discussions to sign the two-time NBA Champion and former Lakers center Andrew Bynum, said agent David Lee to the Indianapolis star.
According to the report, both parties met in an undisclosed area in the city of Indianapolis Friday night.
“(Bynum) has not signed as yet,” Lee said on Friday night, according to The Star.
Not only are the first-place Pacers pursuing the 7-footer, but the two-time defending champions Miami Heat are also said to be interested in signing him for the veteran’s minimum.
Bynum was released by the Chicago Bulls on Jan.7 after getting traded by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
