STUDIO CITY ( — Musicians are engaging with fans on social media more than actors, and that should have Twitter and Instagram buzzing come the Grammy Awards, according to one expert.

Social media guru Natalie Rotman, who’s also an award-winning TV host and fashion commentator, visited KCAL9 Studios Saturday morning to discuss how social media has changed the way audiences engage in awards shows.

Rotman says fan response on social media can influence what a celebrity will wear on the red carpet.
