LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Thursday asked for the public’s help in locating a 27-year-old man who was last seen last September.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement that Victor Keith Ramos was last seen about 10 p.m. on Sept. 29, in the 19000 block of Alyssa Drive in Newhall.

According to authorities, he left on foot and has not been heard from since.

The statement says Ramos has special needs.

He was described as a Hispanic male with brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and blue shorts. Ramos is 6-feet, 4-inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.

Anyone with information as to Ramos’ whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
