Discovery Of Suspicious Package Leads To Closure Of Several 110 Freeway Off-Ramps
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The discovery of a suspicious package on a bus in downtown Los Angeles forced the closure of several off-ramps.
Authorities said off-ramps from Second through Sixth Streets were closed until the package was deemed safe.
The suspicious package -- reportedly discovered during a driver shift change -- was found on a Montebello Transit bus near 4th and Beaudry Avenue.
CHP got the call about the package just after 9 p.m., authorities said.
The bus got the all clear just after 11 p.m., said officials.
