Suspect Wanted In Garden Grove For Committing Multiple Assaults, Including Stabbing

GARDEN GROVE (CBSLA.com) — Police in Garden Grove are warning residents about a serial assaulter who struck at least three times Wednesday evening, including a stabbing.

Officials said that police responded to a call of an assault around 5:30 p.m. in the 11300 block of Euclid.  Authorities said in that assault a male white or Latino in his early 20s, struck a woman several times and drug her before fleeing.

At 7:17 p.m. a resident reported finding a burglar in her home. The resident was stabbed three times. The suspect fled the home. The victim was treated for her injuries and is expected to recover.

Around 9:09 p.m., after matching suspect descriptions in both cases, Garden Grove Police sent out a safety message to residents on their home phones advising of a search for the suspect in the area.

Less than an hour later, police said the man struck again. This time the suspect attacked another female -- in the 11300 block of Lampson -- and also struck her several times before fleeing.

Police said the suspect has tattoos on both arms, was wearing a gray short-sleeved shirt and blue jeans and believe he has a piercing in his lower lip.

Authorities advise caution and say if you see the suspect, not to approach but to call 911 immediately.
