Weapons Cache, Underground Shooting Range Uncovered At Littlerock Home

PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — Three men were arrested after a cache of weapons and "white supremacist" materials were recovered in a rural area outside Palmdale, authorities said Wednesday.

A Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department task force Tuesday served a search warrant at a residence in the 10000 block of East Avenue S-4 in the Littlerock area, according to deputies.

Sheriff's spokesperson Deputy Kim Manatt told KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO deputies seized a World War II-era machine gun, 11 rifles, and six pistols, some of which were apparently stolen from a storage facility break-in about three weeks ago.

"They recovered several reported stolen guns [and] discovered an underground bunker, which included a 25-yard shooting range in an out-building behind the primary residence at the location," Manatt said.

In addition, deputies found more than 1,000 rounds of ammunition, approximately 150 magazines, 50 high capacity magazines, and white supremacist paraphernalia, according to authorities.

Todd Hunt, 54, 33-year-old Royce Gresham, and 62-year-old Larry Finnell, all of Littlerock, were arrested and booked on assault weapon and firearm possession charges, authorities said.

The suspects are scheduled to be arraigned Jan. 9.
