Toddler Found Abandoned In Stroller In Arlington Heights

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A woman was arrested early Monday after her toddler was found abandoned on an Arlington Heights street, Los Angeles police said.

The little girl was found around 2:30 a.m. by a restaurant worker who reported the child was left in a stroller at the intersection of Western Avenue and Washington Boulevard for approximately 15 minutes.

The child's unidentified mother, who is in her early 20s, was arrested after she returned to the scene, officials said.

The girl was not harmed and was placed in the custody of the Department of Children and Family Services.
