M3.1 Earthquake Shakes Marina Del Rey Area

MARINA DEL REY (CBSLA.com) — A magnitude-3.1 earthquake shook part of West Los Angeles Friday afternoon.

The quake hit at 11:48 a.m. one mile from Marina del Rey and two miles from Santa Monica, according to the US Geological Survey.

No damages or injuries were reported.
