1 Dead After Car Careens Off 101 Freeway Into Tujunga Wash
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — One person was found dead Thursday after a car careened off the northbound 101 Freeway and landed in the Tujunga wash.
It was unclear when the accident took place, but authorities were working to extricate the victim's body from a vehicle in the 4300 block of Vineland Avenue.
An off-duty firefighter spotted the wreckage around 7:15 a.m.
Officials say there didn't appear to be a collision on the freeway before the crash.
No other details were immediately available.
