LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — There were fewer people arrested on suspicion of drunken driving this holiday season, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Across the state, 324 people were arrested this year on suspicion of DUI as opposed to 2012.

Five people were killed in DUI crashes this year, none of whom were in LA County.
