Truck Pulling Rose Parade Float Catches Fire In Irwindale

IRWINDALE (CBSLA.com) — L.A. County Fire has extinguished flames from a truck pulling a Rose Parade float in Irwindale.

Firefighters responded to a call Tuesday evening at Irwindale and First Avenue as final preparations were underway for the annual celebration in Pasadena.

The parade float did not catch fire.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

The 125th Tournament of Roses Parade is scheduled to kick off at 8 a.m. New Year's Day in Pasadena.
