Chargers LB Keiser Arrested For Club Fight After Win

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Police say San Diego Chargers linebacker Thomas Keiser was arrested after a fight at a nightclub in the city after the team's victory over the Kansas City Chiefs to earn a spot in the playoffs.

Police Capt. Dino Delimitros said Monday night that Keiser was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor battery late Sunday.

Delimitros says police were called to a restaurant and nightclub known as barleymash in the city's Gaslamp Quarter.

He says some sort of fight had occurred and someone demanded that Keiser be put under citizens' arrest. He did not have any further details.

The Chargers, who earned a wildcard playoff spot with their 27-24 win over the Chiefs, released a statement saying they're aware of the situation and will let the legal process run its course.
