Perris Officials Identify 29-Year-Old Man Killed While Skydiving

PERRIS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities have identified a 29-year-old man killed while skydiving in Riverside County.

Jason Granger, of Yuma, Ariz., was skydiving Friday morning at the Perris Valley Skydive Open Field when he died, according to Perris police Sgt. Frank Lodes.

Officers were alerted to an air emergency at 11:19 a.m. They reported to 2091 Goetz Road, where they located Granger.

Granger was rushed to Menifee Valley Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
