Search Continues For Trio Accused In Manhattan Beach Robbery

MANHATTAN BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday continued to search for three suspects accused in a robbery in Manhattan Beach last month.

The incident occurred on Nov. 29, about 8:19 p.m. in the Manhattan Village Mall parking lot.

It was then that the victim was approached by a Black male between the age of 20 to 25, Manhattan Beach police said in a department statement.

According to police, the 6-foot-tall suspect grabbed the victim's cellphone and her purse before entering a white-four door sedan.

"The victim's credit card was used shortly after to make purchases at two Target locations, one in Hawthorne and one in Inglewood," the statement said.

Police also identified two other suspects in connection with the robbery. They were described as Black female adults between the ages of 20 to 25.

One of the women was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, red sweatpants with writing down the left pant leg, and yellow sneakers. The second suspect was wearing a white and grey long-sleeved shirt, pink pants, and a maroon beanie.

Police said the victim sustained minor injuries.

Anyone with more information about this case or the suspects was asked to contact Manhattan Beach Police Detective Michael Rosenberger at (310) 802-5127.
