Lancaster Family's Gifts Stolen During Christmas Eve Burglary

LANCASTER (CBSLA.com) — A family returned home from a Christmas Eve party to discover their presents stolen right from under their tree.

In addition to the gifts, which included scooters, kids tablets and dolls, the suspects stole the Arroyo family's plasma television and jewelry.

Meanwhile, the family is counting their blessings that nobody was hurt.

"As long as we're safe," Laura Arroyo said. "Nothing happened to us. That's what really matters."

The family believes the suspects may have entered the home through a sliding glass door.

Deputies are on the lookout for the burglars and are continuing to investigate the burglary.
