Body Found In West LA Trash Can

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police Monday were investigating the death of a person found who's body was found in a West Los Angeles trash can.

Officers were flagged down by a citizen around 2:45 p.m. Sunday who directed them to a body in a trash container located in an alley in the 8800 block of Cattarugus Avenue in West LA, the LAPD  said.

The Los Angeles County Coroner has not released the victim's name or cause of death.

The incident is under investigation.
