Man, 92, Killed In Orange House Fire Identified
ORANGE (CBSLA.com) — The victim of a deadly house fire in Orange has been identified.
Authorities said the deceased is 92-year-old George Sirianni.
Investigators are still trying to determine what caused the Thursday evening blaze.
Sirianni, who lived alone, was found dead in a bedroom in a house located in the 1700 block of North Shaffer Street.
The man's nephew told the Orange County Register that his uncle lived in the house for 47 years and that Sirianni's wife had died earlier this year at the age of 89.
The house was declared a total loss.
The fire began around 8:45 p.m., Orange County Fire Department Captain Ian MacDonald told the Register.
