Police In Connecticut Think Man Missing Since July May Be In Southland

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Police in Newtown, Connecticut believe a missing 50-year-old man may be in the Southland.

The man's family and officials are asking the public to be on the lookout.

Robert Hoagland was last seen about 6:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at a gas station located at 11 Church Hill Road in Newtown.

His family said Hoagland has connections in Hollywood, Norco, Diamond Bar, Glendora and Vallecito.

Hoagland is described as white with brown hair and blue yes. He has a distinguishable scar over his left eyebrow.

The missing man is 6 feet tall and weighs about 175 pounds. He was last seen in a white T-shirt and khaki shorts.
