Man Killed In Laguna Hills Apartment Identified

LAGUNA HILLS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Wednesday identified a man who was found dead in his Laguna Hills apartment last week.

Chang Jung, 39, was found at about 11:30 p.m. Dec. 11 in his apartment at Alicia Village, 25211 Stockport St., according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department and coroner's officials. His cause of death has not been released.

Sheriff's detectives said they are investigating Jung's death as a homicide and have named his roommate, 22-year-old Henry Nunez Godinez, as a person of interest.

Godinez, who is also known as Henry Nunez, was last seen Dec. 7 and remains at large.

Godinez is described as having black hair, brown eyes and a slender build. He may be "associated with" a black 2005 Volkswagen Jetta, license number 6KJM618.

"Mr. Godinez and the victim were roommates and co-workers," Krause said. "Mr. Godinez is Nicaraguan, and may be traveling to Nicaragua via Mexico."

Anyone with information about Godinez or about the case can call investigator Justin Montano at (714)647-7046.
