Ashanti Stars In New Lifetime Movie, 'Christmas In The City'

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Grammy Award winning and multi-platinum singer/songwriter, actress and author, Ashanti, visited the KCAL9 studios Wednesday!

Ashanti is starring in a new Lifetime holiday movie, "Christmas in the City," which will air on Dec. 22 at 9 p.m., Dec. 23 at 1 a.m. and Dec. 24 at 4 p.m.

The singer also recently released a five-song holiday digital EP, A Wonderful Christmas with Ashanti, available on iTunes, Google Play and Amazon.

Ashanti is releasing her new studio album, Braveheart, which features the single, "I Got It", next year.
