Temecula Police Probe Theft Of Custom-Made Nativity Scene

CANYON LAKE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say they’ve recovered a stolen, custom-made nativity scene from a home in Riverside County.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement that the theft was reported to the Temecula Police Department last Monday.

By Friday, authorities said officials had received information regarding the possible whereabouts of the nativity scene.

The property was subsequently recovered from a home on Sparkle Drive in Canyon Lake and has since been returned to the victim, according to the statement.

The incident remains under investigation.
