New Mural Unveiled In Watts In Sync With Christmas Parade
WATTS (CBSLA.com) — A mural created by two high-profile artists was unveiled in Watts on Saturday.
Curiot Murals of Mexico, and Yis "Nosego" Goodwin of Philadelphia worked to have the mural completed at about 1 pm on Saturday.
The completion of the mural proceeded in sync with the Annual Watts Christmas parade, which passed next to the mural on 103rd St.
As part of the event, parade organizers also put together a toy giveaway at Ted Watkins Park, located just a couple blocks from the mural site.
Goodwin's mural work can be seen here, and Curiot's mural work is viewable here.
