LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Dodgers Friday acquired right-handed pitcher Seth Rosin, the team said in an official announcement.

Rosin, 25, was traded from the New York Mets in exchange for cash considerations.

The 6-foot-6, 250-pounder, spent the 2013 season with the Phillies’ Double-A Reading club, going 9-6 with a 4.33 ERA in 26 games (23 starts).

In four professional seasons, Rosin, has gone 14-12 with 12 saves and a 4.00 ERA in 108 games (42 starts), after he was originally selected by the Giants in the fourth round of the 2010 First-Year Player Draft out of the University of Minnesota.
