Man Severely Injured After Accidentally Hit By Fire Truck

CRESTLINE (CBSLA.com) — A man was severely injured early Tuesday morning after he was accidentally struck by a fire truck in Crestline.

CBS2's Tom Wait reports that firefighters at the Crest Forest Fire Station received a 911 call shortly after midnight about someone who had overdosed.

A source says when crews rolled out of the station, they hit something.

Wait reports that no one saw the victim, who was left in front of the station's garage.

Firefighters involved in the accident were heartbroken.

The victim was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
