Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Dec. 6)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — After another cold morning, our daytime highs today will once again be well below seasonal averages.

Expect mostly sunny skies through most of the day, however, by the evening we will see some clouds enter into the forecast.

Tomorrow, a front pushes through the area and that will give us a chance at showers.

The track of this system will mostly be inland, so there isn't a whole lot of moisture to work with. Expect totals of .25" or less in most spots.

Snow levels will drop down to 4,000 feet, but there won't be a whole lot of snow either.

Look for another cool day on Saturday with skies clearing.

Sunday will be quite cold again in the morning.

Another wave of energy will rotate through the bottom of the dominant trough along the western half of the U.S. That's going to translate into a windy day.

By the middle of next week, an off-shore flow sets up and we are going to warm up a bit. Temps will return to the 70s.

Basin - low 60s

Beaches -low 60s

Valleys - upper 50s

Mountains - low 30s
