Man Says Friend Stabbed Him Repeatedly Inside Whittier Home

WHITTIER (CBSLA.com) — A man was stabbed repeatedly and hit on the head with a hammer Thursday night in Whittier.

The incident happened just before 7 p.m. at a residence near the intersection of Nashville Avenue and Dunton Drive.

KCAL9's Rachel Kim reports the victim made his way to a neighbor's house to ask for help.

The man reportedly said his friend stabbed him and then told the neighbor, "Please don't let me die. I don't want to die."

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he is in stable condition.

"They came and took him away. They're gonna airlift him," neighbor Tiffany Jacobo said. "Right now the baby is in the house, with only a diaper, and the poor baby has blood all over."

The victim was able to tell investigators who attacked him.

Authorities are now searching the area for the suspect.
