Food Finders Launches 'Wear Your Pajamas To Work' Day To Fundraise For Those In Need

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Food Finders is a community-based food rescue organization that serves as a network to distribute food and education to people in need.

According to Food Finders' website, the non-profit has helped "provide enough food for 39,000 meals a day, reducing the amount of food insecurity and food waste prevalent throughout Southern California."

Diana Lara, VP of Operations for Food Finders, visited KCAL9 Sunday to discuss their latest fundraising effort, "Wear Your Pajamas To Work" Day.

The organization has teamed up with the city of Long Beach for a pajama party on Friday, Dec. 6, to help raise awareness for residents in need.

Those interested in helping can drop off new, packaged pj's, slippers, books or blankets at Sababa Restaurant & Lounge at 6527 E. Pacific Coast Highway.
