LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The TV Guide Network (TVGN) will become the exclusive cable home to CBS’ popular “The Bold and the Beautiful,” starting Monday, December 2.

The cable network already airs rerun episodes of “B&B’s” sister show, “The Young and the Restless.”

Beginning Monday, TVGN will encore the prior day’s “B&B” at 6:30 p.m. PT preceding reruns at 7 p.m. of “Y&R.”

Starting Sunday, December 8th, “B&B” fans who like watching marathon-style can catch up on all the week’s half-hour episodes starting at 11 a.m. PT.

“‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ has been one of the most popular daytime dramas on television for more than two decades, and now, for the first time ever, the series will be making its cable TV debut, giving loyal viewers more opportunities to catch up on their favorite show,” said TVGN’s President Entertainment and Media, Brad Schwartz.

“I am looking forward to a successful partnership with TVGN,” said “B&B’s” Head Writer and Executive Producer Bradley Bell. “Our fans have asked us for an opportunity to watch a second run. I’m delighted that we will now be able to fulfill that desire with such an esteemed cable network.”

“B&B” is immensely popular in many European countries and is the most watched daytime drama in the world, seen daily by more than 35 million people in over 100 countries.

TVGN is a fully distributed entertainment network owned by CBS Corporation and Lionsgate.
