Missing Person: Santa Ana Mom, 28, Last Seen November 12

SANTA ANA (CBSLA.com) — Santa Ana police are asking the public to come forward if they have seen a missing Santa Ana mother.

Martha Anaya, 28, was last seen Nov. 12, according to officials.

Authorities said the woman is known to frequent the areas of First and Lyon Streets but that she left home without her 6-year-old, a change of clothes or any personal belongings.

For those reasons alone, police are finding the woman's disappearance puzzling.

Santa Ana police Cpl. Anthony Bertagna said, "It's not normal for her to not check on the child."

Anaya is about 5-foot-6, weighs 130 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. She has several tattoos -- "Amy" on her left wrist, "Melody" on her right wrist, and "R.I.P. It was all a Dreamer" and "Butterfly" on the left side of her chest, Bertagna said.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call investigators at (714) 245-8393 or police dispatch operators at (714) 834-4211.
