Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Nov. 27)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Who is up for a little dry turkey?

The chances for rain on your holiday have diminished to a drizzle. It now appears the low that has been threatening us all week will remain off shore for Thursday and Friday.

We will see some partly cloudy skies rolling into the area today. However, there is a very weak off-shore flow right now, so temperatures are going to remain mild.

Tomorrow the low moves a little closer, but spends its energy over the ocean. So we will see a healthy dose of clouds, but no rain.

On Friday there may be a little drizzle spitting out from the moisture rotating around the low, but I think for most everyone it will be a completely dry day.

Temperatures will be cooler, just a few degrees below average.

We will see some slightly warmer weather for the weekend.

Right now we are anticipating a major cool down for the middle of the week. However, given how weak the long range models have been, I'm not hedging my bet yet.

Basin - mid 70s

Beaches - mid 70s

Valleys - mid to upper 70s

Mountains - low 50s

Deserts - mid to upper 60s
