Helpful Honda Guys To Help Ease Pain At The Pump During Holiday Season

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — As the holiday season kicks into full swing, the Helpful Honda Guys will be rolling through Southern California to help ease pain at the pump.

Roughly 90 percent of Thanksgiving travelers are expected to drive this year, according to AAA. However, gas prices remain at an all-time high for this time of year.

Look for the Honda Guys' iconic blue t-shirts and a tanker truck featuring animated characters from the Happy Honda Days commercials, which will be dispensing thousands of gallons of free gas to Honda drivers, compliments of the SoCal Honda Dealers.

In addition, the Guys in Blue will be serving warm meals at homeless shelters, building bikes for less fortunate children and donating toys. They also hand out umbrellas during the rain, pick up litter, host pet adoption events and help load packages for local residents.

The Guys in Blue will be at gas stations throughout Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties, as well as the Inland Empire from Wednesday, Nov. 27, to Monday, Dec. 24.
