Suspect Killed In Officer-Involved Shooting In Riverside

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a suspect was killed in an officer-involved shooting in Riverside Friday evening.

The shooting occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 3000 block of E. La Cadena, officials said.

No officers were hurt.

Riverside police say a gunman got out of his car and fired at officers three times, prompting officers to return fire.

The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other people, who were inside the suspect vehicle, were detained for questioning.
