CHiPS for KIDS is marking its 25th Anniversary this year! Make this holiday season magical for a less fortunate child or teen in your community. From November 29 through Christmas Eve bring a new, unwrapped toy to any California Highway Patrol office or to one of the drop-off locations below.

The CHiPS for KIDS Toy Donation Kick-Off took place Dec. 5 at the CBS2/KCAL9 Broadcast Center in Studio City. Anchors, weather casters and reporters were on hand as viewers and celebrities stopped by to drop off new, unwrapped toys for kids in need. There was also entertainment, including a children’s choir and a visit from Santa!

Back In The Day Holiday Car Show

The Back in the Day Holiday Car Show benefiting CHiPS for Kids is took place Saturday, Nov. 30, in Carson. It featured classic, custom, muscle and sports cars.

St. Vincent de Paul Toy Distribution Event

More than 300 toys were donated to disadvantaged children throughout Los Angeles during the St. Vincent de Paul toy distribution event on Dec. 14. CBS2/KCAL9’s Suzie Suh, Amber Lee and Tom Wait joined CHP officers for the special day!
