WESTCHESTER (CBSLA.com) — Authorities say a man was found dead Thursday morning in a parking lot in Westchester.

The body of a man in his 30s was discovered at about 5:40 a.m. at Sepulveda Boulevard and Westchester Parkway, Los Angeles police spokeswoman Officer Sara Faden said.

The man’s name was withheld, pending notification of kin, coroner’s Assistant Chief Ed Winter said.

The cause of the man’s death was not immediately known.
