4 Firefighters Injured While Battling South LA Commercial Blaze
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Four firefighters were injured early Thursday morning while battling a commercial building fire in South LA.
The greater alarm structure fire was reported around 3:15 a.m. at a sewing business located at 943 E. 31 Street, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
"One of the members of the initial fire attack fell through the roof," said Chief Dep. Daren Palacios.
Three other firefighters suffered serious and minor injuries while rescuing their crewmate. They were all transported to a local hospital for treatment.

The fire was knocked down in just over an hour, officials said.
No additional injuries were reported. It was unclear how the fire started.
