Simi Valley Pastor Finds Bibles Labeled As 'Fiction' At Local Costco

SIMI VALLEY (CBSLA.com) — A Simi Valley pastor says he found several Bibles labeled as "fiction" at a Ventura County Costco store.

Caleb Kaltenbach was shopping at Costco, 2660 Park Center Drive, on Nov. 15 when he noticed the peculiar labeling of the holy book.

Kaltenbach, a pastor at the non-denominational Discovery Church, took a picture of the "$14.99 Fiction" Bible, and tweeted it out to his nearly 1,300 followers.

"Costco has Bibles for sale under the genre of FICTION. Hmmmm," he said.

Costco officials declined to comment on the matter when questioned by CBS2/KCAL9.
