Teen Hospitalized After Near-Drowning In Riverside County

RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — A 16-year-old has been hospitalized following a near-drowning at a home in Riverside County.

Authorities were dispatched to a Bermuda Dunes home in the 78000 block of Bent Canyon Court following a report of a teen who accidentally fell into a swimming pool.

The incident unfolded just after 7:35 p.m. Saturday.

After arriving on scene, first responders administered life-saving measures.

The teen was taken to an area hospital where the child's condition was said to have improved.

Authorities said foul play was not suspected.
