Motorcyclist, 73, Killed After Colliding With Car In Perris
PERRIS (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said one person was killed in Perris Saturday following a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.
A 73-year-old man, who was riding the motorcycle, is identified as the deceased.
The Riverside County Coroner's Office said Harold Jaffke, a Mission Viejo man, died at the scene.
The crash occurred before 9:43 a.m. at Cajalco Road and Lynette Lane, according to Riverside County Fire Department spokesperson Jody Hagemann.
Officials said firefighters dispatched to the scene had to free someone from mangled wreckage.
In addition to the deceased, at least one person was hurt and taken to the hospital with moderate injuries, said Hagemann.
